Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 25, 2026
Welcome to Forecastion. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Forecastion, including our website, application, forecasting tools, Monte Carlo simulation tools, workspace features, sharing features, exports, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using Forecastion, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About Forecastion
Forecastion provides tools for forecasting, modeling, scenario analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, seasonal decomposition, data exploration, and related analytical workflows. The Service is designed to help users work with data, assumptions, forecasts, and model outputs more easily.
Forecastion is currently offered without paid subscriptions. We may add paid plans, usage limits, feature gates, subscriptions, or other commercial terms in the future.
2. No Professional Advice
Forecastion provides analytical tools and model outputs for informational and exploratory purposes only.
Forecastion does not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax, legal, actuarial, business, or other professional advice. Forecasts, simulations, charts, estimates, outputs, exports, probabilities, confidence intervals, and other results generated by the Service are based on user-provided data, selected methods, assumptions, and model settings.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, interpreting, and deciding whether to rely on any output from the Service. You should consult qualified professionals before making important business, financial, legal, tax, investment, or operational decisions.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy
Forecasting and modeling are inherently uncertain. Forecastion does not guarantee that any forecast, model, simulation, chart, calculation, export, recommendation, or analytical output will be accurate, complete, reliable, timely, or suitable for your use case.
Outputs may be affected by data quality, missing data, outliers, assumptions, statistical limitations, software errors, user selections, or other factors.
You acknowledge that actual results may differ materially from any forecast, projection, simulation, or estimate produced using the Service.
4. User Data and Inputs
You may upload, paste, enter, create, or submit data, assumptions, formulas, files, workspace content, model structures, or other materials into the Service (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you grant Forecastion a limited license to process, store, transmit, display, analyze, and otherwise use your User Content as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to upload, paste, enter, or otherwise use your User Content in the Service.
- Your User Content does not violate applicable law or the rights of any third party.
- Your User Content does not contain information you are prohibited from sharing with Forecastion.
Do not upload or enter sensitive information unless you are comfortable using it in the Service. This includes highly confidential business information, regulated personal information, health information, financial account information, government identification numbers, or information subject to confidentiality obligations.
5. Analytics and Product Improvement
We may collect usage, device, event, and interaction data to understand how the Service is used, improve product performance, identify bugs, and guide product development.
We use PostHog for product analytics. Analytics may involve cookies or similar technologies when you consent to non-essential analytics cookies. Our collection and use of analytics information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Do not intentionally include sensitive or confidential information in event names, workspace titles, model names, assumption names, file names, or other fields that may be included in product analytics.
6. Accounts
Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the Service, or misuse the product.
7. Workspaces, Sharing, and Links
Forecastion may allow you to save, copy, share, or export workspaces, forecasts, models, datasets, or outputs.
If you create or share a public, external, or link-accessible workspace, anyone with access to that link may be able to view, copy, or interact with the shared content depending on the sharing settings. Do not share links containing confidential or sensitive information unless you intend recipients to access that content.
Forecastion is not responsible for access to content that you choose to share through links, exports, screenshots, copied workspaces, or other sharing features.
8. Acceptable Use

You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the limited license described above.
10. Feedback
If you provide ideas, suggestions, comments, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback, you grant Forecastion the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forecastion and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of business opportunity, business interruption, or other losses arising from or related to your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forecastion’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid Forecastion in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Forecastion and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service.
- Your User Content.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of applicable law.
- Your violation of any third-party rights.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the Service or other users, or used the Service improperly.
After termination, some provisions of these Terms will continue to apply, including provisions related to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
